Lot 1: Sparkling Start

Bisol Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Crede NV (Italy)

Offers up crisp pears, green apples and spices, all of which come

together in a rich, creamy style that is highly appealing. Fresh and

elegance, the Crede finishes with excellent length and fine overall

balance. 85% Glera, 10% Pinot Bianco, 5% Verdiso.

Lot 2: Rosé all Day

Le Galantin Bandol Rosé 2021

Sports lovely notes of peach, nectarine and grapefruit on the nose. Structured and complex, with lots of red fruit and citrus flavors on

the palate. Shows minerality and white pepper spice on the lengthy

finish. Dynamic and complex. 50% Mourvedre, 25% Cinsault, 25%

Grenache.

Lot 3: Wondrous Whites

Chateau Montelena Chardonnay 2019

Incredibly aromatic, the ripeness of the vintage is most pronounced;

melon, perfume, and orange blossom slowly give way to fresh peach, honeysuckle and apricot. There’s little overt oak influence on the nose, although it comes across subtly in the background as pie crust and toast. It’s the suppleness and silky mouthfeel that strike first,

although there’s abundant mango and citrus with Meyer lemon here

as well. The minerality is chalky and distinct, a beautiful contrast that

layers in with the acid adding both complexity and depth. There’s

slightly more wood on the transition to the finish, surfacing as baking spice and crème brûlée. However, they’re handily overwhelmed by notes of Asian pear, mango and pineapple - absolutely delicious. In time, expect hazelnut and almond to appear.

Lot 4: Featured Winemaker Paul Hobbs

Crossbarn Pinot Noir Sonoma 2018

“Medium ruby, the 2018 Pinot Noir is made with about 72% estate

fruit and very little oak. It's a fresh style with open-knit aromas of

roast cranberry and rhubarb with touches of dried leaves, soil and

tar. The palate is medium-bodied, bright and juicy with good

concentration and spiciness and a lifted finish.” Has a medium ruby purple color and lush scents of dried blueberries and cranberries,

with nuances of blood orange, forest floor and violet. The medium bodied palate has grainy tannins and rounded acidity to support its

layered fruits, and it finishes long and flavorful. 91rp

Lot 5: California Reds

Chappellet Mountain Cuvée Proprietor’s Blend 2019

“This blend leads with 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and 36% Merlot, filling in the rest with Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.

Together, a velvety smooth, full-bodied expression of smoked meat,

blackberry and effusive acidity is met by supple tannin and a touch of oak spice.” 92we

Lot 6: Washington State(ment)

Andrew Will Cabernet Sauvignon Two Blondes 2017

“The 2017 Two Blondes Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has ripe,

layered fruit aromas of dusty blackberry, dark plums and cherries on the nose. The palate is complex, showing energetic cassis fruit with

red and black cherry skin. The mid-palate is firm with structuring

tannins and lively acidity, gliding to a long finish with subtle oak tones.

This bottling will age gracefully but is accessible now for those who

want instant gratification. Only 760 cases made.” 92rp
