The 2019 Occam’s Razor Pinot Gris is a skin contact wine with a beautiful golden-orange (citrine) hue. Lovely aromatics of apricot, tangerine peel, marzipan, and acacia. On the palate there are precise notes of apricot, tangerine peel, and honeycomb with hints of spice and marzipan. Fuller bodied with a concentrated palate, vivid acidity, and mineral expression. The lees aging adds a lovely textural component while the skin contact adds just the right level of phenolic grip. The vibrant finish echoes notes of tangerine peel and minerals.
