"The 2011 Zinfandel Dina’s Vineyard is another of the more polished wines in this lineup. Juicy dark cherries, plums, menthol, violets and new leather all take shape in this sensual, layered Zinfandel. This Dina’s is arguably the most complete wine in the range of 2011 Zinfandels. It should drink well pretty much right out of the gate, but also clearly has the potential to improve in bottle. "93rp
Dina's Vineyard was planted more than 100 years ago by Italian immigrants who settled in the Russian River Valley. Today, only about ten acres of gnarled, dry-farmed vines remain at their original homesite. The vines are predominantly head-trained and planted on the typical eight-by-eight spacing, originally intended to allow horses to cultivate between the vines in both directions of the vineyard planting. Deep and dark color, bright acidity and elegant texture are all typical indicators of Dina's Vineyard terroir.
