Aromas of brioche, spice, mineral, lime and apple fruit are pronounced on the nose. The palate is powerful, yet also focused, precise, graceful and totally balanced. Wonderful midpalate weight is supported by a vibrant acidity ending in a very sophisticated finish. 100% barrel fermented Chardonnay aged 66% in oak (1-3 year old) and 34% in stainless steel. From a vineyard located within the actual village of Puligny-Montrachet. Since it is not technically within the wine appellation it can only be labeled Bourgogne. 500 cases produced.
