Our Focus

Through May and June, Twin Liquors will be raising awareness for mental health. "I believe it is our responsibility to continue to focus on the importance of social responsibility in our communities. I am hoping to communicate and share knowledge about mental illness to reduce the stigma associated with it so that lives can be improved and saved."

-Margaret Jabour, 3rd Generation Co-Owner & Executive Vice President, Twin Liquors

Our Mission: Amplify Center

Earlier this year, we celebrated the beginning steps of our efforts with the grand opening of the Amplify Center, a young adult-specific clinic designed to effectively intervene in mental health challenges that develop during adolescence and young adulthood. This 100% donation-funded clinic, located on the grounds of Austin Community College's Eastview Campus, is the first of its kind in Austin, the first in Texas, and the first in the nation. It is the catalyst that will pave the way for our youth to have a means to receive proper mental health treatment designed specifically for them. The center is part of UT Health Austin, the clinical practice of Dell Medical School, and is the product of a multifaceted partnership between Austin Community College and Dell Med.

Our Goal

It is our mission to take down the barriers of shame surrounding mental health and recognize it as an illness by providing a means for young adults suffering with their mental health to receive proper treatment early. With over 80 years in the alcoholic beverage industry, with a focus on elevating and promoting social responsibility, we are determined to put the importance of mental health into the spotlight in hopes of creating a state-wide and national model of change for our youth struggling with mental health conditions.

How You Can Help

Please consider making a heartfelt donation to this important cause and join us in being part of this life-saving program to help our young people struggling to find treatment. All proceeds will go directly to the Department of Psychiatry's Center for Youth Mental Health at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. It is our goal to raise one million dollars during the months of May and June to make our goal a reality.
Let's make a difference together starting with Austin, then Texas, and then the Nation! Thank you for your involvement and consideration in helping with this important cause.
